When you have the motivation to stay with fat burning exercises they become very easy. Coupled with the correct eating in a way that helps contribute to fat burning, this will result in a leaner, meaner you.
Every day, seven days a week, do some sort of aerobic exercise. When your heart pumps faster, not so fast it struggles, but enough to make you sweat you’re doing aerobic exercise. Walking, running, swimming, even some forms of yard work are aerobic exercises. Include intervals into the aerobic work outs. These are bursts of higher activity that help boost the metabolism even more. For example if walking, run for a minute.
It’s wrong to think exercise is only three to five days a week. Don’t believe it. The body needs this work every day. Pick an activity you can maintain so that you can stick with it seven days a week for the rest of your life. In order to burn stored fat make sure to exercise before breakfast or at least before your next meal. In addition to this aerobic exercise add a 10-30 minute after lunch or dinner walk to your daily routine. And remember that life is full of other opportunities to move, whether it be parking further from the store for a little walk or raking the leaves instead of blowing them.
Tone muscles with weight training at least 3 times a week. More muscle mass means a faster metabolism. A faster metabolism will burn more calories even when you’re sitting still. You’ll also start to look and feel healthier.
Definitely don’t skip breakfast, lunch or dinner. If you do your body gets a message that it’s starving, and breaks into slow metabolism mode. A sluggish metabolism is the enemy of fat burning. Another way to stop a slow metabolism is to make sure to eat enough food every day. For most people this means consuming at least 1200 calories each day. Any less and your body drops into starvation mode, working against your efforts to burn fat.
Fat burning workouts shared with healthy eating can have amazing results. It doesn’t have to be hard. In fact if it’s too hard you’ll lose motivation and drop the workout plan. Too many people get all worked up and fanatical on fitness and working out after Xmas, or just before that well earned summer beach vacation, but don’t even make it for a month before the difficult workouts ground them into quitting. Don’t be one of these flash in the pan health enthusiasts.

Hang in there, Tisha, as all these decisions are swirling. I hear ya on the "no brainer" aspect of the liquid diet. A woman in my office just signed up for Jenny Craig for the same reason. Sounds like you’re taking it one step at a time. It’s interesting the different requirements health plans impose on WLS - like your’s with the liquid diet first.
It is green in Sac right now due to our recent rains. Unfortunately, by the time you get here in April, it will probably be all brown and dry like So Cal.

It’s really hard to stick to the list so I consider that part of the challenge I’m to conquer. I’ve got two books and fifteen days to go for my original list. Just finished Love Begins with Elle by Rachel Hauck. Hate that I waited so long to read this solidly satisfying Christian romance. Also read Francis Ray’s Nobody But You over the weekend. Not on my list but hey, I’ll always go astray for a chance to read another Francis Ray novel.

The two best non-diet, diet plans I have used and swear by are the “Abs Diet” written by the editor of Men’s Health magazine. A good, humerous read, easy to follow and is a way of life that will work well with your workout routine. The second book I have read as well as the cookbook is “The Eat- Clean Diet Book”, written by the editor of Oxygen Magazine”. Again it is life style, not a restrictive diet. They are excellent guidelines and I have had great results with both plans.
